• Search the LIBRARY CATALOGUE for books about different kinds of animals.
• Type in your kind of animal and click on SUBJECT.
• Remember to look at the STATUS to see if the book is IN the library or if it is OUT.
• Books that say LS before the CALL NUMBER are located in the Lower School Library.
• Remember, books about the same subject usually have close to the same CALL NUMBER. The Call Number is like the address of the book on the shelf. It tells us where to go in the library to find the book.
  For example:
  • Insects start with 595
  • Fish, Amphibians and Reptiles start with 597
  • Birds start with 598
  • Mammals start with 599
